Community Acupuncture

Acupuncture involves the insertion of extremely thin needles through your skin at strategic points on your body. Atoms, the tiniest unit composing all things in existence are made of mostly energy and space. Acupuncture works by balancing the energy conducting pathways of the body based on thousands of years of clinical use in China. It is used for balancing the flow of energy or life force - known as qi or chi. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is the proper term for this system of medicine that utilizes acupuncture, Chinese dietetics and Chinese herbs to heal and rebalance the body. By inserting needles into specific points along these meridians, acupuncture practitioners believe that your energy flow will re-balance, and healing and repair can occur.

How Does Community Acupuncture Work? Community-style acupuncture allows us to offer acupuncture at a group rate so that treatment becomes very affordable. Rather than having an individual session by yourself, at a cost of $80-120, clients are seated in the chairs, receiving treatment together. Acupuncture works best done weekly for a series of 6-12 sessions, thus group acupuncture allows for considerable cost savings!

Acupuncture is an invaluable treatment tool effective for many conditions as a stand alone treatment, or as a treatment that speeds resolution of your concerns in combination with other treatments.

This is a great way to try out acupuncture if you've never experienced it.
